• What ages do you teach?

I really believe that it is never too late! Please don’t let your age stop you from having lessons. The earliest I like to teach children is 8 and up. I have found that it’s at this point that they can retain information and have a better understanding of their voice.

  • Do I need to be able to read sheet music and have formal training?

Not at all! It doesn’t matter to me if you can’t read music and are a beginner. In some ways it can be better. I haven’t always been able to read music and I can either slowly teach you or we can work from just the lyrics. No problem.

  • How do you take payments?

I am happy to accept bank transfer payments. I will provide you with my bank details in a lesson confirmation email. Or alternatively I can provide you with an invoice if you’d prefer.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

I’m always happy to reschedule a lesson and strive to be as accommodating as possible, any lessons that are cancelled/missed with less than 24 hours notice will still be charged. I ask for payment before lessons so that I can enforce this rule, should I need to. Clients will also be required to use lessons before they expire. I will remind them of the expiry date should we become close, but I will not extend them, unless under extreme circumstances. This is standard practise amongst music teachers in order to protect our incomes.

  • Will you provide music and backing tracks?

Yes. once you become a student of mine I will make you a folder on google drive where you can access sheet music and a backing track for evry song that we work on together. I will also provide warm up tracks for you to use before our lesson and whenever you are practicing without me.

  • What styles of music do you teach?

I specialise in musical theatre and pop. If there is a different style that you are hoping for help with please get in touch. I may be able to help to a certain point and then refer you to colleague of mine.
